I produced this narrative podcast about culture and opportunity in small towns while traveling around the U.S. and living in a van. I interviewed an eclectic mix of people for the show, including a historian, an economic strategist, a solar energy expert, and the Principal Chief of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians.

My responsibilities included:

  • Hosting, writing, producing, sound designing, and mixing all episodes

  • Recording in the field

  • Finding, vetting, and interviewing sources

  • Writing episode scripts

  • Fact-checking

  • Commissioning original scores and developing episodic sound design with a composer

  • Securing sponsors and voicing ads

  • Promoting episodes on social media

Smooth Era - Lead Writer, Producer, Archival Researcher

Smooth Era is a narrative podcast that tells the stories of ‘90s R&B stars and how they “made it.” Our episodes feature original interviews with artists like Montell Jordan, Mr. Dalvin, and Jon B.

My responsibilities included:

  • Writing episode scripts

  • Researching and securing archival sounds

  • Assembling episodes

Creative Characters is an award-winning bi-weekly podcast about the people and personalities in typography and graphic design. In 2024, our show won a Gold w3 Award from the Academy of Interactive & Visual Arts.

My responsibilities include:

  • Working as one of the lead day-to-day audio producers on the show

  • Booking and producing interviews with hosts and high-profile guests

  • Directing hosts in the studio

  • Editing interviews

  • Sound designing, mixing, and mastering episodes

  • Co-managing the production schedule and budget

Enough. (No. 29) - Producer

I co-produced Season 3 of Enough., an interview podcast from the brand consultancy, No. 29. We featured people who are working to change broken systems, from fashion to farming.

My responsibilities included:

  • Producing interviews with hosts and high-profile guests

  • Writing scripts for hosts and directing them in the studio

  • Editing interviews

  • Sound designing, mixing, and mastering episodes

  • Managing the production schedule and workflow
